Safety Is A Priority With Nunn Construction, Inc.

Nunn Construction has a strong Safety and Hazardous Communication Program and is committed to providing a safe working environment for our employees, subcontractors, and any Owner occupants within the project area.

All Employees and Subcontractors Have Safety Materials On Hand

Nunn has a complete Corporate Safety Manual and Hazcom Manual containing our Safety and Hazcom Programs and how they are to be carried out on the jobsite. Nunn's Safety Plan, Safety Manual, and Hazcom Manual are reviewed with all Nunn Construction employees and are also available for any subcontractors to review. Subcontractors are required to have their own Safety Program and submit the same to Nunn's main office for review.

Nunn Construction Takes A Proactive Approach To Safety

An automatic incentive to an employee maintaining safe work habits is continued safe and healthy employment. As a commitment to employee safety, weekly safety meetings are held at our jobsites, as well as, special training is conducted on the jobsite (or in our main office) by our Safety Consultant, when new and/or special safety practices are required or requested.

Safety Is Implemented With In-House Corporate Safety Manager and Outside Safety Consulting Services

With the Project Managers and Project Superintendents, Nunn's Corporate Safety Manager oversees jobsite safety concerns, problems, training, and certain disciplinary action. He is also an active participant on the Associated Building Contractors (ABC) Safety Committee. In addition to our in-house Safety Manager, Nunn also employs outside safety consultant services to enhance our safety program. Visits to every project site at the beginning and during construction are made by our Safety Consultant. On-site employee training is conducted as well as training on new safety devices and OSHA regulations. Various training classes are also conducted throughout the year for all office and field employees.
