Marketing Coordinator

Nunn Construction is seeking a motivated individual, with a passion for construction, looking for a long-term position. This is a full-time position based out of our Colorado Springs office. Working under the direction of the Marketing Manager and guidance of our Business Development Director, this position encompasses a variety of responsibilities.  This person will embody the Nunn Construction’s culture and values, being able to effectively convey externally WHO WE ARE!

Requirements Include:

  • Excellent Communicator - written, verbal, and graphic
  • Proficiency in InDesign, adhering to brand standards
  • Must be a resident of the United States
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is preferred; marketing, communications or other related field

Responsibilities/What Your Day Could Consist of:

  • Proposal production – working with the Marketing Manager, utilizing Adobe InDesign to create proposal documents and win new work.
  • Technical writing & creative writing; for project sheets/case studies, website, proposals, and award submissions.
  • Implement external communications: social media & PR communications, including developing media relations.
  • CRM database management (Cosential); input information on projects, resumes, reporting and data management.
  • Update company website as needed (WordPress platform)
  • Internal communications; contribute to monthly company newsletter.
  • Schedule and coordinate project celebrations & jobsite tours with project teams and clients.
  • Embody & convey the mission, vision, and values of Nunn Construction.

Qualifications/Requirements for Success:

  • Self-driven individual, who can share knowledge and collaborate with our team.
  • Excellent communicator in written, verbal, and graphic form.
  • Actively engage with our team and company to understand and tell our stories.
  • Glass-half-full problem solver who applies feedback to improve performance.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign; able to implement brand standards & best practices of graphic design.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; marketing, communications, grant/technical writing, or other relevant focus.
  • 2-5 Years of experience. Knowledge of A/E/C industry is a plus.
  • Must be flexible, adapting to changing needs and thrive under deadlines & pressure


  • Medical/Vision & Dental Insurance, 90% employer contribution for employees + 60% contribution for dependents. Eligible first of the month after 60 days of employment. ​
  • Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA) – eligible the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
  • Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) – eligible the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)- 3 weeks of PTO accrued at 2.31 hours per week, beginning at time of employment up to 120 hours per year, and the maximum PTO an employee will be allowed to accrue is 200 hours.
  • Paid Holidays – New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (2), Christmas (2).
  • 401(K) Retirement Savings Plan – eligible the first month after six months ​of employment. Company match is 100% of the first 4% of salary (and bonus). Employee deferrals and company match are 100% vested.
  • Short/Long Term Disability – eligible the first month after six months of employment.
  • Fiscal Year End Bonus – Normally 0-15% of annual salary dependent on profitability of company and individual performance. First-year bonus will be prorated based on months of service.
