Nunn is the Construction Manager and General Contractor for the multi-phase expansion at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez, CO, currently under construction.

The initial phases of the project include a 26,062 sq.ft. medical office building, 20-bed inpatient wing, new emergency room entrance, and renovation to the existing main entry and patient drop-off.  

The new patient wing will replace the current second floor patient rooms and will include: improved security and safety, expanded areas for family waiting, updated records keeping, and a new family birthing center with full service labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum rooms. The medical imaging department will feature a women’s health center with a new 3-D Tomosysthesis Mammography machine. 

The medical office building will house up to 30 medical providers and specialists including family medicine, orthopedics, podiatry, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology and general surgery. The new building will feature a retail pharmacy, X-ray capabilities, vaccination clinic, and coumadin clinic. The MOB will attach to the main hospital campus for easy access to additional services.
