Topping Out Ceremony in Dove Creek

Dove Creek’s long-awaited Senior Center and Public Service Center are making increased progress despite the harsh weather we’ve received this winter. The folks in Dolores County celebrated the topping out of their new Service Center on Tuesday, March 7th with a beam signing ceremony.

The new campus will combine multiple services that are currently spread throughout the county. The Public Service Center will house the county’s road and bridge department and emergency services. The much anticipated Senior Center will include a communal gathering space and a dining area for the largest growing segment of population in the county. Funding for the Public Service Center was provided in part by a $2M grant from the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA), one of the largest grants ever received by Dolores County.

Nunn Construction is honored to be Dolores County’s Building Partner and we look forward to the ribbon cutting ceremony upon completion of the Senior Center and Public Service Center later this year. Stay tuned to our website news section, facebook and linkedIn for upcoming information!
