Lake George Charter School is a distinguished project, receiving a BEST grant as well as LEED® Gold Certification. The bid package process for this project was essential, allowing the foundation and underground work to be completed prior to the brunt of winter conditions. The project includes full site development with an onsite water well, septic system, water treatment building,  widening of US-24 and the installation of a left turn lane to provide safe vehicle access to the site.

Lake George is a Colorado mountain town West of Colorado Springs and the front range. The residents of the surrounding community have a great appreciation for the environment therefor, the design included several unique features that allowed the building to accentuate the environment and include it as part of the students learning experience. The building blends into the native landscape with nature trails that surround the school. The design team orientated the building specially to maximize mountain and forest views.
