Originally built in 1969, Webster Elementary School had not been remodeled in 20 years when voters passed ballot initiatives to fund this renovation and addition project. Nunn Construction was selected to improve the existing school’s energy efficiency and expand teaching space with a new classroom wing.

Renovations in 36,670 square feet of the school include all new doors, windows, insulation, exterior panels, fire suppression system, and HVAC improvements throughout. To further modernize the new facility, the existing media center and adjoining makerspace have upgraded technology capabilities.

The 18,230-square-foot addition includes 10 classrooms and adds a gym with an indoor rock-climbing wall to Webster Elementary School’s south side.

Outside, updated landscaping complements the new playground equipment, basketball court, and gaga octagonal ball pit, providing room for exercise and play a short walk from the new gym. The west parking lot was also extended to accommodate more students and staff.
