The oldest building on the Western State Colorado Campus, originally constructed in 1911, underwent extensive interior and exterior renovations. Upgrades to the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and life safety systems brings the facility into the 21st Century. The new systems were designed and installed to address the cold-weather site challenges while adhering to the Owner’s energy efficiency goals. The 4,500 sq.ft. addition creates a new primary public entrance on the south side of the building where visitors arrive at the main entry to campus.
The upgrades to Taylor Hall breathe new life to prepare this historic building for another 100 years of use.
