A 35,000 SF office building that houses multiple colleges on the campus. Our team was responsible for preconstruction, construction services and we worked closely with the Architect to produce the design. This 5 story academic building features high efficiency mechanical and electrical systems, extensive daylighting and collaborative learning spaces, faculty offices, large conference rooms and an incredible rooftop patio.

This new office building has been the “Gateway Building” to the UCCS campus. This project was completed on a very tight building site adjacent to the main entry into campus. All construction activities and deliveries were coordinate with UCCS. Off-site construction, parking and material lay-down areas were utilized to reduce congestion around the building during construction.

  • LEED© Certified Gold
  • “The Gateway” to the fastest growing University in the region
  • 1.6 Acre Site with major Thoroughfare to the South
  • Clerestory Windows Bring Daylight into all Interior Offices and Work Rooms
  • Water Savings of 40% Over the LEED Baseline
“The close and effective collaboration between Nunn and HCM allowed construction to move forward early in the design phases. This close collaboration also brought the Nunn Construction Team much closer to the design process, hence their understanding of design intent is much higher than typical.”
Gary Reynolds Executive Director - UCCS
